وفي المقابل، ابلغ رئيس المنظمة
الوطنية لحقوق الانسان في سوريا عمار قربي الى "النهار" ان السلطات
السورية منعت زميلين له من السفر الى ابو ظبي، وهما الناطق باسم لجان الدفاع عن
الحريات وحقوق الانسان اكثم نعيسي ورئيس المركز السوري لحرية التعبير والاعلام
مازن درويش. وبرر مشاركته بأنه تلقى دعوة مبكرة مما سمح له بالحصول على اذن من
السلطات المعنية، لمغادرة الاراضي السورية مرة واحدة، فضلاً عن كونه متحدثاً
رئيسياً في جلسات "تمكين المرأة".
